Our project with Childs Elementary School is the first rooftop playground for the School District of Philadelphia. 

Two concept designs were created to encourage climbing, discovery and social activities, while paying particular attention to the weight restrictions and safety concerns of the existing rooftop.

The final design has open-ended steel and net climbers mounted over a rolling artificial turf topography with climbing tunnels and embankment slides, offering plenty of places to perch, be upside down, slide, run, and roam.
